The Infuuts is a children's bike that is easily connected to the Mobilyzer. Thanks to the clever design, children can ride around without their parents or caregivers having to push the IV pole. The IV lines hang safely over a hook, so they do not get in the way or drag on the ground.
Research has shown how important movement is for young children, especially in the hospital. Movement is unfortunately often limited by the IV lines and the IV pole. Thanks to the IVs, there is the possibility to cycle freely in the hospital.
The bike has received many positive reactions from both children and parents. It not only offers children physical freedom, but also contributes to their mental well-being. Thanks to the Infusions, children can feel more like a “child”, even in a medical environment.
The Infuuts was created from a collaboration between the Princess Máxima Center, the UMC Utrecht and TechniCare. As the winner of the Eureka Mega Challenge, the Infuuts is a wonderful product. The Infuuts infusion bike ensures safety for professionals and fun for children. The Infuuts not only offers freedom of movement, but also contributes to the well-being of children and their parents. The tricycle is the result of a collaboration between the Princess Máxima Center and the UMC Utrecht . In 2020, the idea arose to give young patients more freedom of movement, despite their medical equipment. After extensive testing, the product is now available.
